*I would appear in the apartment complex, as I took a room, and then shut and locked the door. I would then set Apep on the bed, as I looked around* Ah, you need a place to sleep, and I don't think the bed would be wise. *I would say, as I wondered what kind of sleeping conditions a dragon needed. I would finally decide that going through all that work was pointless, as I made a nice bed out of the sheets and blankets, since I never slept, shaping into a nest like shape. I would then step back, as Apep curled up in his new bed. He would then let out a growl, as he opened his mouth, and let his tongue. I thought maybe he was yawning, but he growled again at me after I didn't do anything. I would think for a moment before it hit me* OH, your hungry! *I would face palm, as I never ate either, never needing to, as I figured that a growing dragon needed meat* Ah, I'll be right back...stay *I would say, as I then assimilated into the floor, going out to find something for the young dragon to eat*

-Large Time Skip-

*A long while after going out to search for food, I would reappear at the door to my apartment, dreading to know what I'd find. Apep hadn't been fed in a long time, had he simply eaten everything in the room, or just starved to death. I would be eternally sad to step into the room and find a pile of dragon bones on the floor. I would sigh, as I touched the door handle, as the door swung open. I would walk through, only to find a huge hole which stretched from the ceiling to the floor in where the window had been in the wall. I would look around, a large nest of various things now on the floor, and a few scorch marks on the bed. No Apep, at all...* Apep...? *I would say, as I then suddenly heard a wooshing sound, as something big and orange swept through the hole, and hit me in the chest, or my whole body, as I was thrown against the wall, cursing slightly. I would feel hot breath, and a large slimy, and slightly spiky tongue lick the aparatus of my body, as the large shape stepped back to reveal a large 7' tall dragon, orange in color, and having the same markings as...* Apep....?



*The dragon would wag its long spiked tail, knocking over the bed and whatever furniture was left in the room in the process, as it beamed at me, smoke now curling out of his nose, as then something unexpected happened*

Apophis:Kasane, its good to see you....I thought you had gotten eaten or something....

*I would sit there, totally numbed that the dragon was speaking. However, he wasn't speaking literally, as I soon figured out, he was speaking with my mind, and my mind to his. We had a emapthy link, or mental connection, which we could communicate with eachother without anyone else realizing it. It was kinda cool* So, what happened to you....I was gone for a while, but not that long...

Apophis:Dragons have shorter growth spans that most do....and after you hadn't come back at first, I decided to go and find my own food....first I found swamp rats, then snakes, and after that I started to eat gattors....

G-gattors...? *I would say, perplexed that the dragon had started to eat stuff so big*

Apophis: Yeah, but sooner or later, I'll be eating deer and sheep whole....which will be better, gattors are so hard with all those scales and things....

Oh, I see... *I would say, now getting up. I was at a loss of what to say next, but Apep was already spewing more out*

Apophis: So, you wanna try riding? I think I'm big enough for that now....

*I would stare at Apep, wondering how I had just brought the dragon home in my arms, and now he was asking me to ride him. However, I would climb onto his back, as we whipped through the hole, his wings extending full length, which was about three of me, as he took off, as we flew through the rest of the Swamps, exploring and talking as we did*
